Over the years, Somewhere in Time has evolved, becoming a trusted source for customers, dealers, and estate professionals who are looking to find out the value of selling their items. The shop has also evolved into one of the largest collections of vintage jewelry on Long Island. Sadly, we suffered a devastating loss when Carol Wolk, the shop's proprietor for over 30 years, passed away suddenly in 2021. Today, Somewhere in Time is run by Carol's daughter-in-law Lisa, who worked closely with her mother-in-law for the last decade. Lisa has made it her mission to build upon the wonderful legacy her mother-in-law left. Carol would always tell me, " We are lucky to have so many wonderful customers," and I couldn't agree more! Today, the shop has become a favorite among chic women in search of unique pieces at the best prices. We know most of our clients by name because once they find something special, they keep coming back—and sometimes, they bring their dogs! 
 
Most acquisitions are made on-site, though house calls are available. We are always buying pieces that are worthy of the store—distinctive, sophisticated, and well-made, and offer top prices for previously owned jewelry and accessories.
